Before sending Frank off, we took him to Palo Duro Canyon. It's the second largest canyon in the United States and another huge tourist attraction. If you're ever in the Amarillo area, it's definitely worth checking out. It costs $5 a person (unless you have a Texas State Park pass) and kids 12 and under are free. It was Arlo's first time to the Canyon as well as Frank's, so we were sure to snag some photos of both of them enjoying their trip.
Arlo was impressed. As always.
I'm not sure what was going on in that little tent and I sure as hell wasn't going to go down there and find out. I mean.. it's a long way.
In the visitor's center, they have a little mini-museum type thing. They have a bunch of fossils from the canyon and such.
It's super windy up here.
Rusty and I were pretty tired from climbing, but Arlo and Frank were alright since they were being carried the whole time. They had it easy.
You can't really tell, but Frank was pretty scared of being blown backward. He knew I wasn't gonna climb down to get him.
Arlo is always happy.
We think this is his new favorite face.
Arlo liked touching the rock.
Frank wanted a photo with the rock.
Frank was hot and ready to go. His boots and water can was getting heavy, too.
